Poem: Fall

Fall

It comes unexpectedly,

throwing you off balance.

Leaves blowing in every direction.

Shocking you into reality

making it harder for you to land.

Pushing you into hibernation,

A moment to prepare your mind.

No running from the storm.

Soon...

The thumping of your heart,

consumes you.

Blood rushing through you,

from head to toe.

Igniting that fire as a signal to let go.
